What is Mindful Cleaning Co.?
Mindful Cleaning Co is a residential decluttering, cleaning, and organizing service that focuses on those who struggle with their mental wellbeing.
My services could be helpful to those:
-Struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, executive dysfunction, OCD, postpartum depression, or any other mental health situation that is making it harder to keep a clean living environment.

Aren't you just a residential cleaning company?
While my services are only meant for residential settings, it differs from a typical cleaning company, because…
-I will work with you to go through your stuff(Decluttering)
-I will clean your home no matter the state it’s in*. No need to tidy up before I get there.(Deep Cleaning)
-I will work with you to create maintainable organizational systems that are adaptable based on your energy levels, and tailored to your unique needs.

How much do you charge?
For the very first session, I charge $100 an hour, with a 3-hour minimum.
Any additional hour will be $100 an hour, however, for all future visits, there is no time minimum.

Why are you so expensive?(Alternative Payment Plans)
$100 an hour for In-person work, and $60 an hour for virtual work is a standard price for a professional organizer.
Here are other ways you might be able to afford my services:
-Paying through a buy now, pay later option at check out, through Afterpay.
-Free Cleanings
For every 9 cleaning hours(no matter the customer), 1 cleaning hour is added to the cleaning lottery.
A lottery of one 3-hour Intro Session is given out each month through a lottery system.
-Paying through a social service provider/ Case Manager:
If you are eligible for a Comprehensive Community Service, then that program may be able to pay me for the cleanings(we’ll work together to discuss that possibility during consultation call)

What's your cancellation policy?
All cleanings require a $50 deposit. In the event that you cancel less than 24 hours before our session, the deposit will not be refunded. If it is cancelled in time, the deposit will be refunded.

Are you a mental health service/provider/professional?
No. Mindful Cleaning Co., LLC. is not a mental health service.
Nor is Jo Fernandez a mental health professional or provider.
This is simply a service for those who are struggling with their mental well-being, and they believe a clean home is a part of the process of bettering their mental health.

Are you able to clean hoarded homes?
Yes and no. If the level of hoarding is not causing a health concern for the inhabitants, and there are pathways to walk through, then yes.
If it is a health concern for the inhabitants, then unfortunately, I am not equipped to help with that situation as of right now.

My home is clean, but I am looking for a cleaner or I want to support you.
If you do not necessarily need my services, but want to support. Give a gift certificate to a friend.
Or if you want to buy it for a random person, email me to discuss buying cleaning hours/sessions to be added to the “Lottery cleaning”?

You keep mentioning "Lottery/Free Cleanings", but I don't see it on the website?
